DJ Tony Wrightley and UEG (Promotions) are registered with dozens of online directories, Wedding and Party related sites. Very recently, one of these directory websites decided to reject our listing because we had music on our Home/Index page! i.e. When one first arrives at either this website or the UEG (Promotions) website.

 

We are aware of the debate about having music on websites and generally we agree with the thinking behind it. i.e. That it annoys or irritates visitors. And to a large extent this is correct when visiting financial or banking sites or anything 'formal' such as Libraries, News, Weather websites and so on.   But what about Music Websites and, more specifically, Wedding Entertainment and Disco websites ? Would you be surprised or annoyed that a 'disco' website welcomes you with some upbeat 'disco/funky' music to get you in the mood ?

 

Please let us know how you feel about this. Do you prefer a downbeat, dreary and quiet 'Disco' website or an upbeat, toe-tapping musical welcome ?  Let us know below if you agree or do not agree specifically with music on a Wedding or Disco website.  Another example could be that when you visit the Wedding Events page on this website you initially hear "Third Finger, left hand, that's where you put the wedding ring' or 'Get me to the church on time' or 'Going to Chappel and we're gonna get married' :-)
